In the second quarter of 2024, the US Android market witnessed intriguing trends among the top 5 dinosaur-themed gaming apps. Sensor Tower's data offers valuable insights into these prehistoric powerhouses.

Mecha Domination: Rampage from 37GAMES started strong with a fresh release in April, seeing an initial surge in downloads reaching 1.66M in the second week. However, downloads trended downwards to 106K by the end of June. Weekly active users peaked at 1.97M in mid-May but settled at 1.33M by the quarter's close. Revenue showed a healthy increase, growing from $152K in early April to $3.2M by late May, before dipping slightly to $3.2M in late June.

Ulala: Idle Adventure, developed by X.D. Global, had modest revenue fluctuations, with notable peaks at $1.55M and $2.77M in mid-May. Downloads remained low throughout the quarter, with a slight uptick to 85K in late April. Active users saw a peak of 230K early in May, but this figure had decreased to 119K by the quarter's end.

37GAMES' Primal Conquest: Dino Era showed a promising start following its March release, with downloads hitting 1.77M in late April. Lastly, Jurassic World™: The Game also from Jam City, exhibited a consistent user base with active users ranging from 1.6M to 1.61M. Downloads reached a high of 338K in mid-June, and revenue saw an increase from $487K to $802K by the end of the quarter.
